Due to shipping regulations, aviation rules, cargo restrictions, and local administrative guidelines, certain items are strictly prohibited from being forwarded through Lakshoppe.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their orders do not contain restricted or prohibited items.

1. Strictly Prohibited Items

The following items are NOT allowed under any circumstances:

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Stolen property

  • Illegal weapons

2. Restricted / Conditional Items

Some items may be restricted based on shipping method, airline regulations, or local administration rules. These include:

  • Batteries (especially lithium batteries)

  • Power banks

  • Perfumes and aerosols

  • Medical devices

  • Prescription medicines

  • Large electronics exceeding weight limits

  • Items requiring special permits

Lakshoppe reserves the right to reject forwarding of such items if they violate shipping or aviation regulations.

3. Perishable & Sensitive Goods

The following are not accepted:

  • Fresh food items

  • Frozen products

  • Dairy products

  • Live plants

  • Live animals

  • Temperature-sensitive goods

Lakshoppe does not provide cold-chain logistics.

4. Cash & Valuable Instruments

Do NOT order or attempt to forward:

  • Cash

  • Cheques

  • Demand drafts

  • Precious stones

  • Gold or bullion

  • High-value jewelry

Lakshoppe is not responsible for loss or damage of such items.

5. Government-Restricted Items

Certain items may be restricted under regulations applicable to Lakshadweep or mainland India.

Lakshoppe complies with:

  • Aviation cargo regulations

  • Customs and shipping guidelines

  • Local administrative rules

  • Indian law enforcement requirements

Any item found violating these regulations will be:

  • Held at warehouse

  • Reported if legally required

  • Returned at customer cost (if applicable)

6. Inspection Rights

Lakshoppe reserves the right to:

  • Inspect suspicious parcels

  • Open packages if required for verification

  • Refuse forwarding of prohibited goods

  • Suspend accounts involved in policy violations

Safety and compliance are non-negotiable.

7. Customer Responsibility

By using Lakshoppe services, customers agree that:

  • They will not order prohibited items

  • They understand all forwarding risks

  • They accept liability for violations

  • They may face account suspension for misuse
